JLE1802_3_PRIZEDRAW_IMG_1November Competition

Nothing to do with us but always on the look out for offers that might inspire you to keep fit and healthy when you’re away from the watchful eye of your 180 Degrees Personal Trainer!

John Lewis have ten to give away. Every £1 you spend in November gives you entry into their prize draw when you use your my John Lewis card (obviously you have to have a “My John Lewis card”!) in store or sign in online. What better excuse to get a bit of early Christmas shopping in.

Some statistics on rowing –

According to British Rowing recent statistics published in the Telegraph (May 2015)

74,400 adults now row at least once a week and a recent survey showed participation in weekly rowing rose 12 per cent last year. Neither is it just for men. British Rowing has 31,000 members, 43 per cent of whom are female.

It has fantastic fat burning capability especially if used as part of a High Intensity Interval Training Session (for more info ask your 180 PT).

180 Fitness Challenges

This month and moving forward into December we have lots of fitness based mini challenges for members and clients including Pull Ups, Squat Thrusts, Sit Ups etc.. one of them of course is to find out who can row 2000 meters the quickest. I haven’t tried the row yet but I’m waiting to see if any of the girls want to compete with me in the Pull Up challenge which I attempted today – come on the Girls!! India Still is currently beating me in the Sit Up Challenge – so I’ve put myself in the Veteran category which I am of course now the winner of!

Wishing everyone the best of luck in all the fitness challenges at 180° in Sandbanks Yacht Company and of course in winning the “WaterRower” should anyone get a entry in.

Good luck!!
